I got tagged to do this post by Sophie literally ages ago now and have finally gotten around to doing it – I think we all need a bit of self love this Saturday!

What’s your favourite thing about yourself? (That can be physically or mentally)
Physically I would say my eyes, mentally I would say how non-judgemental I am and the fact that I feel like I’m quite an empathetic person and always try to put myself in other people’s shoes and understand the way that they’re feeling – I never want people to feel alone. I also think I have a really great sense of humour!
When do you feel your most confident?
I hate that this is my answer for this because I’d love it to be something else, but honestly, I feel the most confident when I have my hair and makeup done and I’m wearing a good outfit. I feel super confident and like I can just put myself in front of anybody and not really care about what they think, because I feel good in myself. It makes me feel like I don’t have to hold back.
What advice would you give to someone who wasn’t having a good day?
Take 10 minutes to sit down and ask yourself what you need in order to be okay, just sit there quietly and think – what exactly am I feeling right now? What has caused it? What would make me feel better? It could be anything, like maybe you need to go for a drive with the windows down and music blasting, maybe you need to take a walk, maybe you need to go and sit somewhere in nature and journal your thoughts away. You might need to have a treat day and go and get a ton of junk food, you might need to go and see people you haven’t in a while. You might need to dye your hair black or cut it all off, or get a spontaneous tattoo. Whatever it is, do it. Do whatever you need in order to feel okay, don’t worry about how silly it might sound.
What’s your favourite self-care method to undergo when you’re feeling down/stressed?
Literally what I said above – I talked about it a lot here but I genuinely just do whatever I need at that very moment in order to feel okay, however crazy it might be.
What does self-love mean to you?
Self love means being your own best friend, your own biggest fan and supporter, helping yourself get through anything and always being enough for yourself. You do not need someone else to complete you, you are whole all on your own.
