video games

One Saturday morning, I woke up and it was a perfect day outside, the sun was shining and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Just blue. I played Video Games by Lana and just lay there, looking up at the sky. And even though I was sad, in that moment I was happy. I was depressed actually, severely depressed, I still am. But I wish I could go back to that moment sometimes, because for those few minutes I was floating.
I felt free. For those few minutes, I was okay.

I could see diamonds in the sky.

  2. Video games is without a doubt my all time favourite song of Lana’s. I totally get you on wanting to go back to moments like these, I feel like that with other memories too. It is in somewhat frustrating that we only get to experience moments like these once, however that’s exactly what makes them so special as well. I hope you’re doing alright Chloe <33 xxx

  3. Video games is one of my favourites of Lana’s. Such a timeless classic. I never get sick of it. And your writing, the scene you drew up inside the reader’s (my) mind was incredible. Sad but you depicted a moment where nothing matteres, where everything just seems to… Stop. Even if it’s just for a while. It’s incredible that music can affect us in such a way xx
