a mini book haul (#4)

Hi loves,

How many more book hauls am I going to do before I actually start posting reviews again I hear you ask? Too many. That’s the answer. Book review posts will be back on the blog very shortly but until then, here’s (another) mini book haul.

on the come up – angie thomas

The Hate U Give was one of the best books I read last year so I’m SO excited to read this one, I’ve been meaning to buy it for a while now and I’m so glad I finally have. Angie Thomas is such an amazing writer.

the mermaid’s voice returns in this one – amanda lovelace

Considering I don’t really enjoy Amanda Lovelace’s poetry since I find it quite basic and Tumblr-esque it’s a surprise I keep buying all her books. However, this was a signed copy and it includes exclusive poetry from some of my favourite writers therefore I thought I’d give it the benefit of the doubt and see how I get on.

freedom – margaret atwood

Very excited to read this one, Margaret Atwood is an incredible author and the synopsis for this book sounds amazing. I feel like it’s going to become a fast favourite for me. Let’s see!

the end – samuel beckett

Sometimes you just have to add extra things to your cart in order to quality for free shipping and that’s what this book was for me however I’m still looking forward to reading it.

wild embers – nikita gill

I’ve seen writing from Nikita Gill all over the internet for years now and thought it was about time I picked up one of her poetry collections as I really do enjoy her work. Excited to read!

And there we have it my little loves – book reviews will resume shortly!

All my love,

Chloe .xx

  2. HAHAHA, its so hard to get yourself writing right!
I love the simplicity of the lovelace book, and the title is so intriguing! I’m gonna look it up!
Is freedom the sequel to handmaid?
Omg, don’t waste on free shipping, buy your books in bookdepository! They have the cheapest book and free shipping worldwide with no minimum!

    1. Ahhh girl don’t worry hehe I buy all my books from Book Depository !! I’ll literally never go anywhere else! Minus this book haul because the signed Lovelace book was from Waterstones therefore I had to buy other books from there to quality for free shipping haha. Freedom isn’t the sequel to Handmaid no, it’s excerpts from that book and Hag Seed! xxx
