Hello hello hello,
Welcome back to the 5th instalment of Chlo’s signed Kpop series where she spends an unnecessary amount of money on Kpop albums and then wonders why her bank account is constantly crying.
As always, I try and space these out because I know there’s only a small minority of you who actually like Kpop therefore these posts aren’t very interesting for the rest of you however, I haven’t done one of these since September so I think now’s a good time to post the next instalment!
Love Yourself Answer Signed Promo
Aaaaaaaaah !! This is the first signed album I bought from the LY trilogy, I actually bought it way back in July last year but like I said, I have to stagger out these posts so I’m very late to the party in sharing this one. There’s something so aesthetically pleasing about the signatures on this one and how the black pen contrasts so nicely with the iridescent silver cover, I think out of the signed trilogy (I’ll upload the other 2 in future posts) this is definitely my favourite in terms of visuals. So pretty !!!
Press It Signed Promo
Another Taemin number ’cause you know…I have issues. Every time I see a signed Taemin album I have to just…add to cart. I bought this one because it was so cheap I couldn’t not get it – basically Taemin had gifted this album to a manager or whoever and when artists do this they always write “To (insert person’s name here)” on the signature at the top. The manager had then however given it away to a seller but of course it still had the manager’s name at the top, so this seller decided to SHARPIE SCRIBBLE THE NAME OUT IN A HUGE BLOCK and try and sell it as just a signature instead which, is the dumbest idea ever because people still buy signed albums regardless of whether the artist has written a personalised message on it or not. Anyway, this seller then sold the album to my seller whom I bought it off and because it obviously had a huge black block at the top the price was dirt cheap and I was like yes, I will have that thank you. It still comes with all of the inserts and everything that’s usually included so it really was a steal! The block doesn’t bother me at all and neither do personalised messages in general – I own a couple of albums where the artist has written messages to people and some people find it a bit odd since of course that message was written for someone else but for some reason I don’t mind it, if anything I think it just makes the signature that little more unique.
Taemin Signed Poster
Speaking of Taemin, I also bought his SuperM signed poster because you know, who even am I if I see one of these on sale and don’t buy it. These signed posters were only for residents of the United States and if you know me, you know I…am a resident of the United Kingdom. Dilemma. However, America was not about to stop me from getting a signed poster from my favourite person and so I just used a shipping company instead (considering it was my first time ever using one and nothing went wrong I’m proud of myself) and voila! He now looks beautiful sitting on my shelf. Happy Chlo.
Quantum Leap Signed Album (Quantum Leap ver.)
Sweeeet little angels. I have a special place in my heart for X1. This is their debut album Quantum Leap so I’m suuuper excited to own it. Normally I’m never actually present for when a group debuts and I always get into them later on down the line so it was really nice to actually be here when X1 debuted and released their first album. There were only 2500 copies of these and they sold out within a day so I’m glad I got my hands on one – there’s two versions, the 비상 version which is white and the Quantum Leap version which is black, and the Quantum Leap version sold out within a few hours so I’m super glad I managed to get one since it was the one I wanted. It’s single member signed and it’s also a first press version which means it doesn’t come with photocards but it’s all good – it comes with a standee and a lil bookmark (I got Dohyon which I was super happy about) and the signature I got was Hangyul. I really love the aesthetics of this album and also the fact they signed the front of the booklet rather than the front of the the plastic cover GOD BLESS. It means I only need to wrap the booklet rather than the whole thing so thank you for saving me a job X1.
(p.s. –I wrote the above paragraph before the news came out and…let’s not talk about it. I’m heartbroken).
And there we have it loves! Hope you enjoyed this and I’ll see you all in my next post ☺️
All my love,
