Hello my loves,
Welcome to tattoos 24, 25 and 26. The other week I realised I had a free day on Saturday and thought hm, what can I spend time using that on? Tattoos, obviously. I had a look around and found an artist I’ve never been to before with some really cute flash pieces up for grabs and I thought…that’s how I’m gonna spend my Saturday.
As always I always like to do posts for my each of my tattoos as a little way to document them and all that jazz. These were just flash pieces I thought looked really nice and so none of them have any meaning – let’s go.
Placement = Left ankle
Pain = 3 / 10
Price = £60
This first little guy is my hare and the cutest one I’ve ever seen at that. This is my first animal tattoo as animal tattoos are just not my thing but when I saw this little guy I was like…ok that’s the exception. He’s on my leg next to my rose piece and I think they go really nicely together. Just look how cute he is 😦
Placement = Back of left arm
Pain = 5 / 10
Price = £50
I also saw this really beautiful vase piece and knew I had to have it because…I have a thing about vases. And flowers. I already have a vase tattoo and so was very limited on where I could put this, I knew it couldn’t be on the same arm as the other one but I’m basically running out of space on both arms now anyway so I kind of booked these all in and then was like ok…where am I going to put them. I decided to have this one on the back of my left arm as a little gap filler and I really love it. My artist made it a lot darker by shading in the leaves etc. in order to make it flow better with the peony piece on the side of my arm which is also quite dark. My only thing would be that I wish I could have had it a tiny bit lower as I think the gap between Frida and the bottom of the vase is a little bit too big for my liking (super picky with my tattoo placement) but we couldn’t put the vase any lower because otherwise it would’ve clashed with the leaves from the peonies and of course, there needed to be a gap. Every cloud though as in the future I plan to put a little florally branch or something here in order to fill the gap. In terms of pain this one was okay but it was super nippy at the top of my shoulder, which makes sense because my other shoulder piece is probably the nippiest tattoo I’ve had so far – the kind that makes you want to run out of the room every 5 minutes.
Placement = Front left arm
Pain = 3 / 10
Price = £50
And last but not least I have this cute little flower…stem? There was a lot of places I could’ve put this as it was a really good gap filler but I decided on my upper arm next to a bigger peony piece I already have and they fit together perfectly. Super tricky to get a good picture of this one because it looks warped however I try to take a picture of it as it moves with my arm but, I think these photos will do!
And there we have it loves! All of my previous tattoo posts are linked below as always.
All my love,
